  • sodium lauroyl aspartate

Sodium lauroyl aspartate is a surfactant that enhances the spread of cleansing products.

  • titanium dioxide

Titanium dioxide is an FDA approved physical sunscreen ingredient. It remains on the skin surface, scatters UV light, and is often used in conjunction with other sunscreen chemicals to boost SPF values, thus enhancing overall product attractiveness. The finer the particle size of titanium dioxide, the less obtrusive and whitish the product will appear. Many authorities believe that titanium dioxide in an ideal UVA/UVB protection component given its chemical, cosmetic, and physical characteristics. Titanium dioxide also serves as a white pigment and opacifier in skin care products and cosmetics.

Possessing an antioxidant capacity derived from the facilitation of vitamin C recycling, vitamin E regeneration, and antioxidant enzyme activation, this extract is optimized by fermentation and is reported to have more antioxidant potential than green tea extract.

  • pearl powder

Pearl powder is a multi-functional aesthetic ingredient that boasts an incomparable historical record spanning millennia. The cosmeceutical benefits of pearl powder had, until recently, been obscured by the fact that pearl powder has pleasing mica-like surface aesthetic properties. A collaborative 2009 scientific publication from three Taiwanese universities, however, has confirmed pearl powder's substantial antioxidant, hydration, and brightening properties.

Consensus scientific data assessments have confirmed its safety as a cosmetic ingredient; the European Union Cosmetics Directive concurs with this safety assessment. Phenoxyethanol prevents or suppresses microbial growth and thus protects cosmetics and skin care products from spoilage. It is also used in fragrances.

how to use

HOW TO USE: Wet face and hands and gently shake a small amount of cleanser into hands. Activate cleanser by rubbing hands together to form a light, creamy lather, then gently massage directly over face in light, circular motions. Rinse thoroughly with water and pat dry with a towel. Cater the amount of water used to the desired level of exfoliation.

WHEN TO USE: Use as either the first or secondary cleansing step in your regimen. Step can be repeated if desired result is not achieved upon first cleanse.
